The mud pile has been removed… now you can see where the garage is going to be. That said though, it’s been raining constantly so there are lots of puddles around. I walked onto the site and it is extremely slippery. Wonder how they’re going to do build the slab on mud. Hopefully we’ll see …

Site flattened
Don’t know what the process is called, but the site has been flattened. Can’t see the piers anymore but can at least see the outline of the house. I think the next step is the slab, which they say should be finished next week. Here are a few photos.
Piers complete
Visited the house again 2 days ago and again today. Piers are complete, got the report from the building inspector after their inspection of the piers. Said that there were 62 piers, all of which were up to 3m deep. Some were shallower than that, but they hit rock, so can’t go any deeper. Guess …
