Got my white card
Everything is still up in the air. No idea what’s going on and whether the construction will continue. Thinking that we may go down the owner builder path so I decided to get my white card just in case.
Internal scaffolding gone
By today, the internal scaffolding has been taken away.
Scaffolding being dismantled
So quick… just a couple of days after PD liquidation is announced, they have already started dismantling the scaffolding. After they left, I did what I could to cover up the exposed parts of the house… I tried placing a tarp over the garage, but didn’t have one big enough.

Today, we got dreaded news that PD is now in administration. I couldn’t reach anyone for any news, can’t reach the site supervisor, can’t reach the building coordinator, can’t reach anyone at PD. Second storey brickwork done
The brickwork on the second storey is now done and the cladding has arrived.

Bricks being laid on the second storey. Meanwhile on the inside, they have flattened the floor and straightened the walls ready for plastering.
Scaffolding all set up
Brickies can now continue their work up the second storey.
External scaffolding arrives
External scaffolding arrived today so the brickies can lay the bricks on the second storey. There was actually more brickwork done the last week or so, but I didn’t post anything because it’s just bricks going up bit by bit.
More bricks at front and side
Funny how the bricklayers don’t match the bricks properly where it’s going to be rendered. Guess it doesn’t really matter since it would be covered up anyway.
