Just a few more photos.

Today, looks like they’re preparing the floor for the second storey.

Looks like so much has been done in just one day… So excited now that construction has finally started.

Looks like the building materials have arrived… finally! Arrived sometime before Saturday October 29 2022, but up until November 6, it was still there untouched. but it looks like the windows and window frames have arrived too.

Slab’s all done and it looks good (was actually completed on July 8 but didn’t take photos till today). I have been told though that materials for the frame won’t arrive till December! That’s 5 months away! So 5 months of extra rent, and since we sold our house to build, that’s 5 months of …

Today the waffle slab was laid out and we had it inspected. There were a few things to be fixed, but nothing major.

Nothing much to describe, just that the materials have arrived in preparation for the slab.

Checked out the site today… it’s been flattened and cleaned and I can see the concrete piers level with the ground. There are pipes coming out of the ground, some with blue on top and others with yellow. I have no idea what that means. Here are a few photos. The site looks pretty nice …

The mud pile has been removed… now you can see where the garage is going to be. That said though, it’s been raining constantly so there are lots of puddles around. I walked onto the site and it is extremely slippery. Wonder how they’re going to do build the slab on mud. Hopefully we’ll see …

Don’t know what the process is called, but the site has been flattened. Can’t see the piers anymore but can at least see the outline of the house. I think the next step is the slab, which they say should be finished next week. Here are a few photos.
