They have started tiling the roof with the back half mostly done already. Love the machine they use to bring the tiles up from the ground to the roof.

Roof tiles are here and I can see that safety netting has gone up around the safety rails.

Gutters are now in… Wife noticed that the garage beam is not horizontal. I measured the height of the left side of the garage and the right and there is a 2cm drop across the 5 or so meters. Amazing how she managed to see that. Anyway, I brought it up with the site supervisor …

Windows are all stacked up and ready to go in the garage. Some sliding doors have been put up already too.

Doesn’t look like much difference in the last 2 days, but more work has been done on the inside.

Went a bit later today, so it’s darker than normal.

They’ve got the roof trusses in place now. I climbed up there and it was a really good view. Very excited now that the I can see the shape of the house. I did speak to the carpenter and he said that the scaffolding was supposed to have arrived yesterday, but arrived today instead. So …

So it was raining the last few days and no progress was made on the house till today. Went to visit at the end of the day and saw that they’ve now started work on the second storey.

I didn’t go in for 2 days, was raining so I didn’t expect them to do much work.
